THE BAY CARE HOME

The Bay Care Home is located in the seaside town of Tywyn in Mid Wales. The Bay is adjacent to the railway and centrally located to all amenities and has outstanding views out over the sea. The Bay has been a Care Home providing Nursing Care since 1967, previous to this it was a Hotel.

The home is set in landscaped grounds with a conservatory giving wonderful mountain views of the surrounding country side. Residents enjoy the short trip to the promenade and the town centre and to the market held on a Monday.

The Bay is in the process of a major refurbishment plan to include an extra six en-suite bedrooms, the residents enjoy the spacious lounges and dining areas. The majority of bedrooms are single en-suite with a double available if required.

The Bay Care Home has strong links with the local community with regular visits from Age Concern, Merched Y Wawr and Tal Y Llyn Victorian Committee. The Bay has raised funds for the Air Ambulance and local charities by holding a fashion show in The Bay using the conservatory as the “Catwalk”

The Bay Care Home provides 24 hour Nursing and Personal Care which is available from our specially trained staff, freshly prepared food cooked by our chefs, and a local GP service is situated just across the road.
