St Davids

St David's was officially re-opened on the 4th January 1985 by Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant for the County of Clwyd Colonel James Ellis Evans, C.B.E,., T.D.
St David's is registered with CSSIW care and social services inspectorate for Wales.
Our aim is to provide care for people aged 65 years and over, we recognize the intrinsic value of people regardless of their personal circumstances, by respecting their uniqueness and personal needs and by treating each person with respect.
We are situated on the promenade with magnificent sea views and also in the close proximity is the town centre where you can find churches, shops, post office and banks. St David's is set in its own grounds with beautiful gardens with ample parking for visitors.

Harmony
The staff at St David's are selected for their friendly professional and caring qualities. Our aim is to achieve an atmosphere of harmony where residents and guests can really feel comfortable and at home. St David's forms the basic service offering an holistic approach, with choice and dignity held in the highest regard. There is a nurse call system from all rooms, in case of emergencies. Bath with special features for ease of entry fitted, to allow bathing with dignity and security. There is a ramp access to the building and a passenger lift to all floors.
St David's offers a choice of both single and companion rooms, all tastefully decorated and refurbished. Residents are welcome to make their rooms their own and are encouraged to bring with them personal possessions.

Mealtimes
At mealtimes there is a choice of menu. Our chefs prepare,  appetizing, nutritious meals, using fresh vegetables ,special diets and personal celebrations are also catered for. Residents may invite friends and relatives to eat with them.

Activities
We have a large lounge overlooking the gardens and the sea front. This is where most of our group activities take place. We have regular activities including bingo, coffee mornings, quizzes and outside entertainment. We also have a smaller lounge overlooking the seafront for those who want to relax and chat.

EXTRA SERVICES
 Hairdressers call at regular intervals, as do other persons offering such services as chiropody. There are several local GP’s who visit the home when requested. Religious needs are catered for with in house services.
