MADOG CARE HOME

Superbly located in Porthmadog, Madog Care Home has attractive, well maintained grounds with views to the harbour, the estuaries of the Glaslyn and Dwyryd Rivers and the mountains of Snowdonia.  This is, indeed, a perfect setting.

The vast majority of rooms (single or shared occupancy) are en-suite. There is a telephone and television point in every room and these equipment items will be installed on request. All bedrooms are well furnished (*plus we encourage our guests to bring their own belongings) and all rooms have a carer call system.  In addition there are bathrooms, one well equipped with hoist and shower.

A fully maintained eight person lift operates to all floors.  Regular visits are in place for clergy, hairdressers, chiropodists etc.  We have a range of communal rooms at ground floor level in addition to the hugely attractive grounds already mentioned.   All Health and Safety requirements are strictly adhered to, the building is well lit both internally and externally and we strive to create the friendly, clean environment referred to previously in addition to, essentially, tranquillity.
