The proprietor, Dr. Don Harrison and his dedicated team of qualified nurses and care assistants aim to provide the highest standards of care and comfort for all our residents. Park Lodge Care Home is situated in a third of an acre of secluded gardens, which has an ornamental pond and views over the Vale of Clwyd. It is situated just off the main St.Asaph to Denbigh road with public transport nearby.

A courtesy car is available for clinic or hospital appointments and for visitors from surrounding areas.

Proprietors Jenny Allen and Michael Costello live very close to Park Lodge and are in attendance on a full time basis. Jenny Allen is a Registered Nurse (Level 1), NVQ Assessor and Welfare Officer with many years experience in the care of the elderly in the private sector.

We provide a high standard of professional care, in comfortable, friendly surroundings with an emphasis on privacy, independence and choice, to enable residents to enjoy their retirement years with as much help and support from our caring staff as the individual may need. Both Welsh and English speaking staff who are NVQ trained are available 24 hours a day.

Y GELLI CARE HOME

Since 1990, Vale of Clwyd Mind has been providing Supported housing for residents of Denbighshire with severe mental health problems.

We work closely with the local Housing Associations, Clwyd Alyn and Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd and also the local community mental health teams.

We rely on close partnerships with the Local Health Board and Denbighshire County Council (Supporting People) for funding

Residential care: home for adults with enduring mental health problems. Providing continuing care for ten people in six flats.

Supported housing: This scheme provides supported living in the form of 19 flats for people suffering from mental health problems, who have continuing care needs.

Floating Support: This project provides support for nominated tenants to enable them to continue to live in their own homes.

The Housing Manager for the Vale of Clwyd Mind, together with the local Community Mental Health Team and any relevant Housing association are responsible for agreeing individual applications for tenancy and support.
