Delivering Real Benefits for Members of the North Wales Care Association

The North Wales Care Association has entered into an arrangement with Complete Care Network to secure a range of benefits exclusively available to North Wales Care Association Members. These benefits will enable members to make substantial savings when procuring goods and services and details of these arrangements are set out on this website. Negotiations with suppliers are ongoing and you should check the website regularly for details of new arrangements. We would welcome your recommendations on companies who supply a good service to the sector particularly if those companies would be interested in providing favourable terms for members.

Negotiations on fee levels for Care Home Services 2009/10

Submissions have been made to each local authority in North Wales with regard to the fee levels for care home services for 2009/10. To view a copy of the submission click here. The submission sets out the inflationary pressures on the sector and the risks arising from the global baking crisis. It uses the fair price for care toolkit to establish the fair fee level for an average care home in Wales.

Local Authority Contracts for Care Home Services

The North Wales Local Authority Commissioning Officers Group has commenced a review of contracts for care home services with the aim of producing a core set of terms and conditions to be used by the six North Wales Authorities. The Association has requested that it join this exercise to comment on the proposed document from the service provider’s view and this has been agreed.
